     Hello everyone!  God is good.....  All the time!

Spring is officially here, and summer is soon to follow.  I wonder what plans you have made?  I know I've made some.

We've recently made a trip to South Carolina to watch my son graduate from Marine Corps Bootcamp.  We've also made plans for a family vacation later in the summer.  But these were planned for me.  What about plans for Him?

What plans have I made for God?  Hmmm...

Well attending Gatherings is always good, and helping with Walks is also good.  But that's not what I mean.  As members of the Emmaus Community, that is part of our obligation.  I'm talking about more....... over and above the call.

I challenge each and every one of us to make plans now for Jesus.  So something new... something different.  Go above the usual expectation.

Try this.  Before April is over, pick one Sunday afternoon in May or June and set it aside.  Then use that day to visit a local assisted living facility or nursing home.  Go to one where you don't know anyone.  Just walk in and go to their recreation room or dining room.  Someone will be in there.  Pull up a chair and intoduce yourself.  You'll be amazed!

It's that easy.  There are so many people there that NEVER get any visitors, no one to talk to, no one to listen to.... NO ONE!

Our Emmaus Community is several thousand strong...... just look what could happen if ALL OF US gave one afternoon...
